Quick supercharger question

I found a vortech V1 off a 97 F150 with a 4.6 litre. I am just wondering if this will fit on a 01 mustang GT and is it worth buying for 1000$?

If it doesnt fit, what is required to make it fit?

I would assume the head units are all the same, you would just need the correct bracket for your car.

is all the intake piping the same?

The head unit will fit but I think 1000 bucks pretty high for just a head unit, especially a V1. I am pretty sure that the piping is completely different because the F-150 intake manifold is different then the stang. I would say 600 tops on a old used V1 because they are not upgradable as I understand it.
