Found me a T5 on craigslist, supposedly rebuilt, it looks clean, comes with a new clutch (supposedly), pressure plate, bellhousing, fork, flywheel. He is asking 750 for the whole thing but told me to make him an offer...Whats this worth, if its all as he says it is? I was thinking about offering him 600, because he is selling it with pedals and cable assembly out of an 88-92 mustang that I don't need.

For just a regular T-5 no thanks. You can pick one up at the junkyard or on ebay and rebuild it yourself for half that.

I picked up a 302 and T-5 combo for $450 a year and a half ago.

Yea maybe I just found a good deal. What's he asking for it? I don't like to just make blind offers on stuff like that. I would like to see what he's asking first to get an idea of what he wants for it and then you can go with what you'd like to pay.

Oh he's asking 750, too much I agree, but its the wrong flywheel, the pedals are out of a newer mustang, so im thinking about offering 450 for everything else....if he don't like that then so be it, it has been on craigslist for a month, he might like some cash flashed.
