I have a 95 Cobra with a Bassani X-Pipe cat-back.

I've been looking over my exhaust layout, and the only place I can think I have enough room is right after the headers. I kinda wanted them between the cat and the muffler so when open it wouldn't be so loud, but would give the feeling of having an off-road pipe when no cops are around er... at the track.
So the question is, how loud is our cars with just headers? Also for performance, what would be best? After the headers or between the cats and mufflers?
Last of course... has anyone used these?
