Are Linglong L688 tires any good. On the site I am looking at them on the speed rating is 168mph. They seem pretty good to me.

Its probably one of those replica brands that sell with no warranty, but are essentially idential to, say, a Goodyear Eagle. My tires are the "Fuzion ZRi's" which I never heard of before, but they are just a re-named Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval, but at half the price (no warranty). Never heard of Linglong. Surely some research will yield some clues as to who makes them. I wouldn't be surprised that they are an econo Goodyear Eagle.

I sell tires...and I have never heard or seen these before. For a budget tire Kuhmo are decent. You can get Kuhmo ASX which is an all season a symmetrical (you'll be able to rotate any tire to any location). They run about 90$ a piece for 245/45/17's.

Its gonna be hard to find a tire in our size with a warranty worth having.

I would stay away from replica's. They rubber will be cheaper and won't last. Were I work we have a lot of problems with cheap tires pulling, and wearing quickly. You'll be happier if you get a decent set now.

If you're looking for an option... I bought some Nexen N3000's on ebay last week and just got them today. $350 shipped for a set of 4... 255/40ZR17's. Treadwear: 340, traction: AA, temp: A. They're very close to being the same width as my dad's Toyo 275/40/17 RA1 race tires. I'll let you know in a couple days how well they grip.

Here's a pic. Nexen's in the foreground, Toyo's in the back.

My buddy at work has the nexens on his maro, for the $$ he spent on them there decent. Just be careful in wet conditions, they are pretty bad in the wet, then again about 90% of tires on our cars and camaros are bad in the wet.
