guys, ive been thinking of fabing up a custom stainless steel side exhaust.

i have a slp catted x pipe si i would be building off that.

do any of you know of a stainless muffler ( the small kind like magna packs) that is quiet?

i have a magnaflow catback now and i love the queiness of it. it sounds mean without being too loud and attracting unwanted attention.

thanks

Borla Stingers, magnaflow Magnapacks and SLP loudmouth 2's are the only ones that i now of, but they aren't quiet by muffler standards being that they are resonators.
Steeda makes some quiet mufflers quieter than magnaflow from what i have heard on youtube and stuff. Hope that answered your question.

BTW, do have any exhaust clips of your current set up?...i've been looking for your exact set up on the web and cant find it

i thought the borla exhaust was the bigger style muffler. looking for one of the smaller tube type mufflers for a custom job. if i cant find anything to fit my needs then i will prob. go with the borla or steeda side kit.

I have the regular..

Only bad thing is that you can't fit full length subframe connectors on it if you put that type of side exhaust..

Aww man I bet. I have regular magnaflows too but everything else is stock.
I think CobraRed_96_GT did a custom side exhaust. He would be a good person to ask. But for the quietness your looking for you will most likely have to get mufflers.

BTW, how was your catted x before the l/t's? How was highway cruising?

the catted x gave me a little more sound and a bit more kick when punching the gas. the cats keep it quiet though, thats for sure.

i know about the subframe issue......not sure i like that! i really wanted subframes to reduce those little torque lines you get in your paint from body flex.

dont know if you know what im talking about, but is there any other moddy that will help almost as good as the subfram conn? would the small length sub frames helf at all?
