R-1/Tenzo Racing seats on Ebay

Does anyone have any experience with these seats or any other seats from Ebay. They have these R1 seats $250 a pair it sounds like a good price but I am not sure about the quality. I want the corbeau CR1's but $400 ea is a bit much.



Any input would be appreciated good and bad.

i had tenzo R seat on my MR2.

All I can say is " you get what you paid for"

No logo'd R1s. Yeah they were cheap, but they were exactly what I was looking for. Almost a year later and the wear protectors on the bolsters are showing no signs of giving up the fight.

How did you get rid of the logos? Also, how did you get the seat brackets to line up?

I purchased them without the logos. I modified the stock seat mounting hardware to work with the new seats, drilling new holes in the rails as well as the "feet" of the stock brackets. The feet had to be drilled because the distance between bolt holes side to side on the bottom of the R1s didn't match stock (although it was very close).

Are the R1's any lighter than stock?

They're about 20lbs each, without the rails.
