A couple weeks ago my wife got into a wreck in my mustang. I found out today it is totaled. She was ok which is the most important thing but none the less I'm very upset.
Sorry to hear about the car, glad the wife is ok. I know what it's like to total a vehicle. They are replaceable, a loved one isn't. Good luck to you and the wife, everything will be fine.

2. Is it totalled as in not fixable, or as in too much $$ to repair?
We just went thru that, car values are down and the paint to fix my wifes car was over thier limit. Only damage was broken mirror, dented front fender and small ding in tail. We did salvage, and I hit the net, bough fender, TWO new mirrors *other side was bad) then paint and walked away with a few hundred $$ in pocket. Yeah car has salvage titla, but it looks better than before and all cars in the $$ they would give us were POS and hers is in great shape.
