Well guys, the most unlucky thing happened to me on the luckiest day of the year. I got the LX on the road for the first time on saturday the 13th, on St. Patricks day (wed the 17th) i totaled it... :(

well...on wednesday nights, me and my buddies go and get wings. Well we got a freak storm while i was in the restaurant, it was cold and it flurried a little, and rained. Anyways, i was on my way home, and i was being soo carefull. I was a mile from my road and i was crossing a bridge, the bridge was icy and a truck that was passing me ran into me and rolled on top of my car. The firewall is twisted...they cant fix it. now i have to find something to put that engine in...

I feel your pain. My convertible just got totalled because an guy in an old F150 decided to try to try to cross the highway and make it into the median before I passed. He was uninsured. Needless to say, my car is toast. Just finished doing oil pan gasket, totally repainting, replacing interior etc. Grr... luckily, insurance is taking care of me. Some things aren't as easy to come by as money tho...

i dont know how much insurence is going to pay for it, they went to look at it today, im going to pay to get it back though, and take all the goodies out of it and try and find a GT

We'll it sounds like the other persons fault so,however was
driving that truck that hit you pays it's as simple as that.
I am happy you were not injuryed in the accident that's
good.I hope you find a stang to put that engine in!

thanks for your concern guys, i appriciate it, there were 5 kids under 10 years old and the driver in the truck, none of them were hurt either, except for some scratches and bruises. i was so scared, im only 17 and iv never experienced something so scary.

but for some update on the car, i talked to the insurence company today, and they are giving me what i paid for the car, so that will give me some money towards the new one.
