Hey all,
I was in my GF's house watching the simposons tonight (good episode by the way) when her sisters new BF comes in and goes "Your car sucks ass" ....never meet the guy before by the way. I am like "What the hell do you drive a viper?" and he goes "I dont have a license or a car Im only 15" lmao some kids are ridicoulos. I wanted to hit him for being so ignorant. IU could tell he was a wannabe ricer that hates all mustangs out of jealousy. So I tell him to shutup and come get me when he grows up and gets his 88corolla. He says "My buddy is coming in 2 mins and he will wax you" I was game before I knew the car. a few mins later I hear the obnoxious sound of a ricer can. It was a '03 focus with the 2.0 Zetec (sp?) with exhaust and some colorful engine goodies (wires and CAI i think was all). It was a 5 speed but I knew it would be a laugh of a race and good lesson to the ricer kids. I take the boys to a back road leading to a closed factory (mabye a mile long) and count down. I had my gf in the car and told her to count it down but when she got to 2 he left and I was over anxious and spun through 2nd (It had rained earlier) and he was about 4 cars ahead when I got traction. after that it was a joke I reeled him in with third and put 10 cars on him by the middle of fourth. He gets to the end and the driver says "I love your car that is soo awesome. I have wanted a mustang for a long time. wana trade" I laughed and said no but his buddy (the a$$hole) wanted to go again claiming they "killed me" off the line. we went again and I eased into like I was leaving a light and waxed him by 15 cars by the end of third. I called it a day and went home with my gf. The only thing that bugs me is that they klled me off the line in the first race becuase I just sat there spinning and I asume my gf thinks they were really quicker off the line. I tried to explain traction but I doubt she got it. The driver was really cool (other than saying he also wants a turbo civic) and he complimented me alot (good old ford guys even know how to admit a loss) the 15 year old kid was a punk and will learn someday. Sorry this ran long.

at least you enlighted them on the power of a Mustang, even though Im sure the other punk still dosent get it. Nothing worse then a wanna be punk ricers talking trash that lives through other peoples cars b/c he dosent even have his licence yet Thats just about the worse combonation you can get. Im sure he will get many more times on his ricer adventures.

You should take the little turd on a drive to show him what American muscle is all about, then push him out 5 miles from town... At 1st I thought you might have lost!!, then I read it all..

Lol yea I should have, If I had lost I would have posted for someone to shoot me. He still isnt convinced, although now he claims he has a 87 auto trans am (stock) that will "murder" me. Atleast its a domestic, Lol little kids trip me out, although I am sure I was the same way a few years ago.

Good kill, and you know better than to race on a wet surface. You would still probably be spinning if it rained earlier.

10.2 1/8th is about right for that car. At least the owner of the Focus wasnt a dickbag.

BTW you gotta get some better times to be honest. I ran a 8.999 1/8th mile last week with only the mods in my sig.
