Putting a V8 mustang up against a Corvette is kind of recoculous in the first place...a V6...is more like suicide.

... will you ever forgive me.... then again your not asking charity because your trying to give you car away to a vette driver either.

On a lighter note.... he could get lots of funds to make his car fast by putting his lips on other things. Anyone ever plant tulips?

Man...thats risky! The thing is a Vette is made do out perform many cars stock! Also they are a TPI (tuned port Injection) and can be torque monsters and VERY easy to mod!
My buddy has a 91 Firebird Formula 305 TPI T5...stock with homemade intake and bumped timming and runs 14.3.
Now a vette is a 350 TPI and stock runs lets say a 13.2ish....i have no idea but ballpark.
You better throw one crazy motor in that car and remember Drag racing not about who has the Bigger motor etc...its about who can drive and hooking up! All traction and reactions!

I say good luck to you But I HIGHLY doubt u take him if he mods that vette.

Throw some 4.10s, and a nice shot of NOS at it....and some nice meats!

Your WAY off on that time, but good guess . My father used to have a 91 corvette, bone stock. Best time I could run at the track was a low 14 @ 98ish. My father's new 2001 vette ran a 13.0 @ 106. O yea, both cars are auto on stock factory radials.

Hope this gives you an idea.

Gut the hell outta that thing, hit the JY and put together a T3/T4 hybrid. Rent a sawzall, route the exhaust up through the floor and weld in the turbo. Plumb in a 200 shot dry kit. Screw the intercooler. Put that $$$ towards a set of slicks. Using a turbo will keep you from grenading the 7.5 off the line. Save the spray till the end. If you blow it up... who cares? Just make sure you coast across the line first. Scrap the sissystang, sell the Vette, guy a V8 Stang, live happily ever after.

Yeah, but the Vette guy is gonna spend this time modding his ride. You wanna finish your P.O.S. ASAP before he does much to it. The V8/twin turbos will rip the ass out of a stock vette 4sure. But in the time it takes to build the turbos, swap the motor, tranny, rear end, think how much this other guy will do to the Vette. I mean, this cat's askin people to donate dollars. The Vette guy's prolly got $$$. And may not start mods right away, thinking that Stangboy's gonna need lotsa time to save for a V8.
