At my local parts store they list 3 different racks, one with a ford gear, one with a trw gear and another ford gear with a 2 piece mounting bracket. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between these racks before i try to guess and tell them to order the wrong one? Thanks in advance!

Get yourself one that says one or all of the following things: sport suspension, 15:1, 2.5 turns lock to lock, and you should be fine if that helps?

Adjacent the input shaft on your existing rack is the part number. As I recall, you can decipher it to see what you have. The TRW option was rare on later foxes.
