I'm using Valvoline Super Raidator Cleaner right now. It said to empty, refill, empty, add the cleaner, refill, and then keep the cleaner in until the car has been driven 3-6 hours. I drive my car very little right now and it may take 2 weeks to get 3-6 hours on it. Will this cleaner hurt my car leaving it in the that long? Also, I want to change radiator hoses while its empty and I have to order them. Thanks.

It won't hurt the car, but honestly in my opinon..I would say that as long as you put the stuff in your car and drive it a few miles..letting the thermostat open and close a few times then you should be fine. This is because the cleaner has been run through the system a few times. They prolly suggest 4-6 hours for the best results. Most of the time I just flush mine with water and refill it with 50/50 mix. Most people don't ever do that to their cars in their life, so you doing what you are doing is a good thing and more than what most ppl do.

Cool...I will probably leave it in my car until I get the new hoses in. If it was going to hurt it, I was going to empty it and just add strait water until the hose came in so I didn't have to waste antifreeze. I just bought a new 160* thermostat.

Thats cool man, hey I took a 160* T-stat out of my 91 GT when I had it because it made the car run funny. It ran too cool and it would not perform well..it bogged a lot when taking off. Plus I had NO HEAT!! I put a 180* in and it was a lot better..I had GT40 steel heads Cobra intake, MAC headers H-pipe no cats, BBK 70mm T-body and a 73MM C&L mass air and pullies. I don't know what your mods are, but I think the 160* was too much for my car.
