Has anyone ever used one of these prestone flush -n- fill kits on their 99-04 GTs? I bought one of the kits and didnt realize I would have to cut my hose and install a "T" connector to use it. I then had the bright idea of buying a replacement OEM heater inlet hose and just cutting that. (EDIT: Part # circled is YR3Z18472AA)

I posted a pic, and circled the hose I believe is the one I need to splice into. The inlet hose to heater core? Also, any words to advice from someone who has used this setup, would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

Thanks.
A lot of people use the Prestone backflush kit and the Ford Shop manual shows this exact setup as a tool to use to backflush the system. But because of the shape of our heater hose I did not want to cut it and insert the T-fitting.

Anyone have a link to someone who has used it ?

They make a cleaner for your system you poor in and run for a bit it cleans rust and deposits out then you flush it again and add your 50/50 mix
