Radiator Hose Clamps

What was the OEM type radiator hose clamps. I know the heater hoses used tower clamps. Where they also tower clamps, ring clamps (2 rings with a worm screw), or the banded-spring loaded type that you use a pair of pliers to open?

I recall them as being the ring style clamps.

I agree, and the damned things were stapled to the hose.
