Radiator preference

I just supercharged my stang and I now need a good radiator. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it worth it to buy a Fluidyne, Be Cool, or Griffin radiator? I know the cooler the engine runs - the better, but these radiators are around $500 - $600. Are there any other radiators out there that are just as good but a bit cheaper? Or should I just pony up and buy the best?

Depends on where you live and how hot it runs now. I know guys here in Los Angeles with Griffins, Be Kool as well as guys running 3 and 4 core brass radiators.

Well, I had 7 Fluidynes and 6 of them leaked. Im being honest here, i would go with Be cool and be done. i have never heard a be cool leak before. My 7th current-Fluidyne hasnt leaked yet, Thank God. I could say one thing, Fluidyne has awesome customer service and stands by there product in terms of guarantee and warranty. but in the end-Who the heck wants to rip out rad's every 6 months and repolace costly antifreeze everytujime. If i had to do it again or shall i say-My next rad will be a Be Cool-have only heard awesome things.

If you're looking to save some cash then just go with the FMS aluminum. I have that and a blower and my car stays very cool. I also went with an electric fan at the same time but that certainly isn't necessary

I agree. Anything Ford Racing is good stuff. Only thing-I wish they welded there end tank and didnt use epoxy. That was a huge selling point for me when buying a new rad. Especially living in NYC with potholes, craters and metal plates-You need to drive an off road truck to survive in manhattan..

i have the summit aluminum one, but im not sc, but i do live in georgia. and it stays nice and cool, plus only 200 bucks

Thanks for the info guys - I just ordered the FMS aluminum. It was more in my price range - $250. I just hope there's enough clearance between my electric fan and the pulleys because of the thicker radiator.

i recently ordered a alum radiator off ebay, cost me 240 after shipping and the radiator is a "FlexiCool" at least thats on the front of it. its a 2 core alum rad with 1 inch cores. i am happy with the quality of the product.
