I have a 67 mustang with a 289 and the radiator has a lower hose on the driver side. Was told that's not possible. when I did the intake the lifter valley said 289. every time I wanna get a new rad they said there is none only 390 has it on driver side. what do I do or how do I figure this out.??

You can have a 289 block and a 1985+ timing cover, this would accept the pump that has the lower hose on the drivers side.

What are the dimensions or your radiator? The big block radiators were 24 inches. So you could have a small block engine but a big block radiator.

Go to ebay, and look up aluminum radiators. All the sizes, and dimensions are listed, and usually a lot cheaper than a new copper one.
