Hey guys, just got my new system in.. New head unit, amp, speakers.. the whole bit..
Well, i noticed that when i turned on the A/C, the radio would start distorting when it was on high, so i tore the radio back out to look for shorts and i noticed there were three wires left in the radio harness, a smaller ground, and two other random wires..
So i parted the smaller ground with the radio ground i used, and the distortion went away.. so im guessing that ground had something to do with the a/c panel?
Im still guessing on what the clock in my dash doesnt work, im starting to guess on if those two random wires go to it.. i havent gotten the time to tear it off to see if the colors match, but i dont see why the power source for the dash clock would run to radio.. but if anyone knows, i would appreciate all feedback- also, let me know if i was supposed to part those two grounds together like i did, seems like it fixed the problem, hopefully its a yes cuz i dont wanna pull the nice tape job apart again!
