Hey everyone, I just have a quick question. I am on my billet shopping spree and my interior is about to acquire a major dose of bling! The question is how to remove the knob from the nonShaker radio? Do you have to yank the radio, do you destroy it by removing, mine won't snap off .

On the Shaker radio it just pulls off. I don't know about the other.

Thanks for replies! I can't pull mine off! I have been trying to yank it off, to leverage it, but I am afraid that I will somehow snap the shaft of it and that will be bad! Anybody else? I think that the regular radio is different than the shaker?

Don't try to pull it off. It doesn't. When you order billet or chrome accessories, they tell you it's not for the standard radio, so don't break it. Check out mgwltd.com They have nice stuff.

I agree MGW does have nice stuff, looks like the radio knob fits over the factory one

No, the MGW radio knobs are for upgrade stereo systems only.(shaker500,1000) You have to remove the stock knob and replace it with theirs. The base stereo knob does not come off at all.
