In the process of fixing my radio wiring. Can someone tell me what this plug is that I'm holding in the pic? And is the blue box the factory amp?

The airbag module is supposedly blue.

Blue box is the airbag modul.

I believe that plug is supposed to plug into the amp but you’ll need to pull out more to confirm. Amp harness can be removed completely so if you follow it you might find a set of plugs you can disconnect the radio harness from. If you bypass the amp (which is prob best since modern head units are better than factory amp ever was) you need to remove that harness anyway

Was out looking at the wiring again. I traced the wires a previous installed used to hook up the head unit and found where he tapped into some factory
wires but i dont get it? Iv attached a pic. When i first was looking at it i thought, "well ill just undo all that and reattach like factory". The wires colors dont match up though? I thought "pink to pink, blue to blue" but there are three pinks and blue and white with red...there are not doubles of each to reattach?

Also, in the photo on the right side you can see the gray wires are the added wires and those were hooked to the head unit harness to purple and they did not work. The green wires on the left were the only ones that worked? I even had music playing, unhooked a green wire and hooked it to a gray wire to see what speaker it came out and got nothing?

So after giving it some thought. I posted a pic of that harness i didnt know what it was to. Im wondering if the other end of it, is what these wires are and the
previous installed cut the harness's end off and tapped into the wires using wire nuts as shown? If thats the case ill need a wire diagram that goes further down the line then just behind the radio.

I use switched power not constant for the radio? Which fuse in the fuse box is switched power?

The aftermarket radio had two wires going from the head unit harness over to the fuse box. One was connected to #16 cig lighter and one was connected to #10 flash to pass/low oil level?
