i know weather plays a big role in HP. colder, denser air gives your car a few HP. so does that mean that you are running a little leaner? is it safe to assume that on hot days i could drop the fuel pressure down a few pounds and see a little difference?

i'm just trying to understand how someone could benefit from different tuning in different weather. got any advice? any web sites i could read up on?

Colder Denser Air gives you more power. If you think about it, why do you put a intercooler on a turbo/super charger, to gain more hp by cooling down the air entering the engine. Like vortech sells its power cooler which you fill with dry ice so you have a super cold and dense air flow. Just my 2 cents.

The computer should compensate itself, theres no need to adjust it. Set it and leave it.

correct me if i'm wrong, but the computer compensates during normal driving. i believe at WOT, the computer doesn't have much control. your tune has more control then. why would anyone even bother tuning thier car then? by that, i mean timing and fuel pressure.
