Ram Air

I just got the duct to go with my "Mach 1" style hood from Cervini's. Has anyone else out there ever had one of these with the functional ram air? The advertising says 25 hp gain. I am just looking for some real life feed back is all. Doesnt really matter though as I seem to have the only one of these in my area that will be working and it looks trick.

25 hp seems a little optimistic. I've always liked the looks of a shaker.

Very, very doubtful you'll see 25HP from the "Ram Air" effect alone. Where did they make those claims at? You have like a website for the product where they say this?

Adding a ram air hood scoop has as much chance of adding 25 HP to your Cobra as me adding snake emblems has of adding 25 HP to my Mach 1

I had the same style on my 88 Gt. Didn't notice any differences, but the hood does get air. On some cold nights there would be an outline of the duct on the hood.
