Ran Seafoam through my hatch

Seafoam supposed to clean the chambers out to eliminate detonation?
*cough cough*

Car had a malfunctioning PVC system for a long time, and sucked who knows how much oil in through the intake, I figured it was worth a shot since it could have carbon deposits creating hot spots.

Shouldnt you run seafoam through the engine and not the hatch?

Durr, that's how I wasted half a can.

Auto mech teacher in High school used to say to shoot atf down the throttle body to do the same thing.... never tried it.

I kinda want to try it, but not sure if it's snake oil or not

idk, when I worked at a Texaco we ran something similar to this on customer's cars, some didn't make much smoke, some would make a bunch. I ran some through my very mis-tuned (at the time) Dart and the black clouds it made probably showed up on radar. I might try another can on the 91 since I got it figured out. I imagine my truck needs it pretty bad since it carbon fouls it's plus in a matter of minutes.
