ok, so how does this sound for the entire deal:

6 cyl springs
summit front shocks
sub frames
shelby underriders
roller perches
5 leaf springs (with blocks if it sits to high)
rancho rears
Detroit Truetrac
hoosier quick times

should this stuff make my car hook?

I would go with Caltracks instead of the shelby under-riders. Also, I think lately there has been a big push for monoleaf springs instead of 4/5 leaf springs. I havent looked into it, but its something to consider.

dude, i'm not spending that kind of money for caltracs LOL plus I already have the shelby's. I just don't know that they're necassary ya know? Oh well, if the underriders don't work I will switch them out. How much are monoleafs?

I had no idea you had Shelby's! I would use them if you have them. They might work just fine. I would call calvert racing and ask them their opinion. They are one of the top classic car drag shops.
