Atleast once a day I have a no-starting issue. At first, I could count to 10 and then it would start, then it progressed to a couple minutes, then today it took me half an hour, lol. It also seems to be bogging slightly in normal driving. I've replaced the ignition module, it has new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Charging system tests good. Fuel pump and filter are new-ish, maybe 2 years.

After a lot of research, I thought the TFI module was it, but it still no-starts.

Would you guys replace the coil next? And then the distributor itself?

Sometimes a coil will fail intermittently when they're on their way out. You can check the health of your coil with a multimeter.

From Chilton manual 26608: (the resistance readings are for a stock coil)

Primary resistance: Disconnect the wires from the coil and connect an ohmmeter accross the coil primary (low voltage) terminals. The resistance should be between .8 and 1.6 ohms. (see illustration)

Secondary resistance: Now connect an ohmmeter between the negative primary terminal and the secondary terminal (the one that the distributor cap wire connects to). The resistance should be between 7.7 and 10.5 k-ohms. (see illustration)

Ignition coil primary winding to case resistance: Measure the resistance from the positive primary terminal to the case of the ignition coil. It should read about 10 M-ohms.

If any of these test otherwise, the coil should be replaced. Hope this helps

How long do coils usually last? The MSD coil I have now is about 7 years old. I guess the stock one was on there 10 years. Holy crap, this car is old.

Would anything lead to early coil failure? Or is it just one of those things, ya know.
