I like the over exposure on the blanket in the dog pic. It makes the picture warmer and directs your eye toward the dog. Good pic

thanks its my favorite of the bunch at the moment, i messed with it a little to get that effect though, added a little glow, etc.

Yeah, looks to have a high aperature and ISO, with a quick shutter speed. Your lighting in that pic was great for that combo. Low light with those settings gives cool pics.
