What do you guys think is about the average age of a fox owner? I'd guess somewhere around 30-40. Maybe someone who wanted one when they were youngsters and finally got em one.

You're spot on. Mostly guys who were old enough to see them rolling off showroom floors and say "I want one" so from about 25-40.

Yup....IMO, Fox bodies don't interest the younger crowd. Not only do they not like the look, but they're under the mistaken impression that they're slow. I find it cute when I hear teens talk about that "old dinosaur" of a Mustang when they compare it to their basically stock Civic/Saturn/Neon...whatever.

Over the past 10 years I've seen as more young kids with Foxes than older guys. At least where I come from. Nowadays I see those younger guys giving them up for a New Edge of S197. Me, I can't see giving up my Fox so as I age I'll be helping the curve Bought it at 18 and am currently 30 (holy )

28 years old here! I was 12 or 13 when a schoolmates older brother use to come pick him up in his all black GT. That was about 1995 or 1996. That did it for me, loved them ever since!

Got mine at 16, still have it today at 23, I'll have gone through every stage of being a fox owner by the time I retire mine.

I don't really think there is a specific age demographic that foxes appeal to. I have been seeing more teenagers in them than previous years, but I also still see a lot of older folks rocking the 5.0. I don't care what somebody's age is, as long as their fox is tasteful. My balls shrink every time I see a fox with euro taillights, or some ridiculous looking wheels.

When I have my 03 how I want it, gonna find a fox to build. I'll be 41 at the end of May. When I was around 14 or 15 I use to hang with my cousin and his friends. We played with Cutlass's (plural for.Cutlass?), but his friends had 82/83 Capri's. Couple were built. Fast cars. There's a driveline shop here that has a 79 pace car sitting for the 3 1/2 years I've been here. Might look into that.

I'd say the majority is ~30+ but i have seen a lot of younger owners. It's all in how you're raised and what you can afford at that age. I've owned one for 10 years now so i was 22 when i got my first, and i was into them for years before that.

Yeah I'll be 30 this summer... But anyways I always liked em, my dad got a '95 gt in early '96 and still has er. He put almost 300k miles on er before the rebuild in '09 I believe it was. (might have been '10... thirty year old brain ya know ) I've only had my '90 since '09 as well, I totaled the car I was driving and found me a fox.

im 25 and have had fox mustangs since i was 17. I just read on CARBUZZ that the average owner of a mustang in general is OVER 50!! the next generation stang will need to appeal to a younger crowd, and as such will be losing the retro look. sad. i hope it turns out ok.
