Rant: American Racing Shelby Razor

I have the Shelby Razors (18x9) on my car with the Eibach Pro Kit. The rims do not stick out. I am very happy with them.

The current Razor 18x9s fit flush with the top of the fenders. I like that look. Doesn't look like the roller skate look at all. I am aware there is an offset floating around out there that DOES stick out beyond though.

However if you are a fan of the "stock 18s look" where the wheels are tucked in to the fenders by about an inch, then wait for the new Razors. Personally I don't like that look. Makes the car seem too big for it's wheels.

I like the flush fender look. Looks like an angry bulldog waiting to chew up the road.

What offset makes it sit flush with the fenders? Would they still sit flush with the fenders if I put 295's on the back wheels?

I am running 275s with a 40 profile and that puts the rubber flush with the rim. Any wider and you're going to have rim rolling over on rubber when you get hairy with it on the turns. ;)

So, yes, you would start to see rubber poking out from the top of the fender with 295s.

As for offset, it's the largest one they offer right now as listed earlier in this post. The 24mm I believe.
