Raptor shift light Vent install

i know how to wire the shift light up, however, i want to have a clean instal and put it in the vent.

how do i remove the trim panels to get this done, iv only removed the shifter bezel to slap in my tri-ax. id rather know the proper way to take them off so im not rushing to the ford dealer to get a new trim piece lol. and pics of this done or tips would be helpful.

Not sure if the 99+ are the same but on my 96 the vent things pop out if u take a small flat head screwdriver and slide it down the outside of the vent and push to the side a little.

You can take the bezel off. It just simply pops off. Just start in one corner and work your way around. I can't remember if the vents come out with it or not though. Either way, after you get that off you should be good to go.
