Rate your tires thread.............

With so many different tires and new tires coming out. And the search engine filled with pages and pages of tire related questions. I figure we needed a "rate your tires thread". Not only current tires but tires you've had on your mustangs in the past. Minus the stock Gatorbacks, we all know how they are. I figure giving mileage is useless with so many people going to the strip in the tires and some people not. Some people that do alot of burnouts some don't. So we'll leave out mileage.

Rate from a scale of 1-10

Dry Traction
Wet Traction
Cornering
Even cold weather/ice/etc

Khumo MX
Dry Traction - 7 In cold weather as bad as Nitto or any other drag radial
Wet Traction - 4
Cornering - 7

Khumo ASX
Dry Traction - 5
Wet Traction - 7
Cornering - 7

Nitto Drag Radials
Dry Traction - 8.5
Wet Traction - 2
Cornering - 2

I just bought a set of BFG KDW2 or KDW NT's today so I'll see how they are next week.

Yes I know tire rack has this but tire rack is to overall based. You could click on a certain performance tire and have 3 Ford Mustang reviews and have no idea if it was a v6 mustang owner or a drag racer, etc etc. I bought my tires from tire rack and always do. Than you can click on spirited driving and have a 93 Honda Civic owner with Goodyear Eagle GS-D3's giving a review which I could care less what any tire will do on that car. We've had over the years what gears to get threads or what intake plenum is best. So why not have a thread based on what every Mustang Owner will and has to do, and thats buy tires.

To another note. Why would you refer people to another website when they can get the answers here unless someone on here is looking for tires on a car that is not a mustang.
