Rattle from tranny, help.
Last october I replaced my clutch, flywheel, throw out bearing, throw out bearing retainer, etc. I replaced all but my clutch fork. Now I have a squeak just like it used to do, even though I bought a steel throw out bearing retainer. On top of that, I have a rattle. The rattle stops when I push in the clutch, so Im thinking its the throw out bearing. My reasoning is that when it was apart, I noticed my clutch fork was decently worn where it rubs the throw out bearing. I went ahead and reused it, because I had to get the job done and couldnt wait for a new part. Does that sound like what you all might assume could be the culprit? Any opinions are greatly appreciated before I buy new parts and tear it apart again.
