i just installed a pro 5.0 shifter and everything works fine but around 100 to 120 mph the shifter vibrates a little very annoying any thoughts on this except i know slow down thanks

My Hurst also has a slight rattle when accelerating hard at high speeds. I think this is just a byproduct of replacing the weak plastic bushing (which isolates noise and vibration) on a stock shifter with the metal bushing installed in an aftermarket shifter.

My understanding is that the noise is transmitted by the metal-to-metal contact of the shifter to the tranny- nothing but red RTV silicone to seal it. Somebody sells hi-temp neoprene gaskets to fix it, 5.0 magazine had an article months ago about someone fabbing one for their Tri-ax and it silenced it. :hail2:
Try a search on the web, if you really want to fix it and can't find it let me know and I'll ask a buddy of mine who has the website.
