Rattle On Top Of Tank

hey so my 90 vert sounds like I have a lug nut on top of the gas tank. Super annoying rattle when I'm driving or even idling.
Does anyone know if I can just jack her up and try and fish out the lugs using magnets or do I need to drop the tank?

You can try. Won't hurt anything, but I doubt it will be successful.

What makes you think the rattle is lug nuts and how did they get there?

lug nut on top of the gas tank?

Sure it's not the exhaust hitting the UCA's?

Maybe the fuel pump is making the noise.

I am betting the exhaust. Put the car on jack stands start the car and look at the exhaust.
