Here is car #2 that I just towed home. It's in alot better condition then car #1 that's behind it. I'm thinking about keeping the car original and I like the rims.

1st question:
Are they original?

2nd question:
Can they be re-finished?

3rd question:
Where can I find new ones?

Those wheels probably didn't come with the car. However, they are of a classic design and do look right at home there.

What do you mean by refinished? It's hard to tell from that picture but that dull grey color is probably what they are supposed to look like. Hitting them lightly with a sandblaster will clean them up nicely.

If you are looking for a polised or chrome finish you'll be better off buying new wheels.

The chrome is 99% flaked off. There are still some pieces of shine left hanging.
Sorry, re-chromed. Would it be worth it? Anyone done it?

I think you'll find that it's cheaper to buy new wheels.
