After playing with the 97 gt that my Dad got I am able to see that the American muscle house brand short throw shifter is actually pretty decent. I had forgotten how sloppy the stock one was. Or maybe the t45 (that's what's in a 97 right?) shifter is just that bad I dunno. But either way the "sport" shifter is worlds better.
