re-seting ecu question

I installed my flowmaster cat-back and I re-set the ECU. Ive only driven about 25 miles since then and my car feels like it has the same if not a little less power than before the flows. Is that just because the ecu has to get re-aquanted with things, or should that not matter?

you'll only feel a tad pit difference, and you don't have to reset the ecu.

catbacks dont change anything enough to need to reset the PCM. you are looking at maybe 10hp at most of a gain with a catback. especially with one that flows as poorly as flowmaster.

Your not going to feel any difference. When I put my flows on I felt nothing didnt feel like I lost or gained power just sounded different. Now put an O/R pipe on there and you will feel a difference, especailly if u have a 96-98 GT with 6 cats.

Yeah, it's only worth about 5 RWHP...sounds like more than this, but that's all you get. Add a midpipe - that'll help wake it up.
