Is it ok to re-torque the heads with the intake bolted on and re-torque the heads and intake, or should I pull the intake to do this?

The heads are aluminum.

Did the instructions that came with the heads say anything? I would think as long as you are only checking for the "click" again, you shouldn't have to pull the intake.....

I have edelbrock heads. I have installed them twice following the directions and haev re torqued them. Neither time did they need it.

Not telling you not too, just what I found. Make sure to clean out bolt holes, follow with a tap, and lubricate them properly.

If i remember right they clicked right away the first time I installed then retorqued them. Im using the same fel-pro gaskes this time so Im thinking it aint worth the trouble to pull my headers to do it lol.
