Well, i'm putting all my wires into the fender and moving the selenoid to the passenger side. I just have one question. I looked at t-moss' wiring diagram and i seem to have another wire that goes into the battery side of the selenoid. It is on a black/white wire and has like a small metal box type deal on the end of it. I don't know what it is and was just wondering if any of you knew. I took a picture of it but for some reason it won't let me upload it and i dont know why. Thanks for the help

Did anyone have to extend the O2 (I think those are the wires) on the passenger side? My car's on stands now, and Thats where I'm at. I've got the entire harness in the fender, and that seems to be the last one I need to connect, but I think its going to be short.

I have a carb so I don't have an oxygen sensor. Thanks for the info 86. My buddy said the thing on the end of it is a power distribution block i guess. I think im just going to get rid of that and use an O- thing to hook it onto the selenoid. thanks! have fun rewiring all that perky, it sure is fun

The thing on the end is the circuit breaker. Don't get rid of it unless you put another one inline.

When I did the conversion to V8 on my convertible, I ran all the wiring (driver & passenger side) in the fenders. The only thing I needed to lengthen was the mass-air meter wiring.

Hmmm, I would unhook it and see if anything stops working before you hack it off. Just to be sure. You never know with Ford. On power option cars it's for the locks and windows but on non-power option cars Ford may have hooked it to the freakin' dash lights.

86Cobra.. Your right.. sometimes you never know with Ford. I'll have to look into that.

It's always nice to get rid of stuff around the car that you don't need.. tidies things up.
