pretty sick man

so whyd you have to go to norcal for smog?? im still tryin to figure out thi semissions thing so i can bring my car over..
That's where my stock H pipe was - and i know a guy there who passes all the visual stuff for me without comment, plus only $20.

I was going to dyno today folks - but it's 85 degrees; not only because that might be lower numbers, but because I don't want to strap down and work around a hot car in hot weather right now.

Having some A/F ratio problems and spark advance "iffyness", been working with it most the day. Been talking with Tim about it as well since the original tune was for stock PI heads - will need to figure this out before I do any more full pulls as it was originally running really lean. Glad I'm dealing with it now before i go ballz out at the track or just rev it to 6300 on the dyno.

Did some midnight datalogging pulls in 3rd - thing revs to 6400 like a champ. Just need to stabilize a lot of my curve where it dives down like a bath tub in a certain section before i see real numbers. Torque curve is looking pretty flat though!

Here's what the first day of tuning looked like. Ran the MPH 91 tune for the full pull and you can see how lean it got:eek: (Blue and Olive lines) Got another from Tim to richen it for the ported heads (guess it makes a good difference, he said .5-.8 points). Then it ran the a bit rich so I did +2% lean and +2 degrees spark across all rpm's. And puled me "best" pull - still had that huge bathtub in the middle halting the power climb. So that's what I've been working on this week with datalogging and working with Joe Gorm of SD on. Will post up the changes I made with the next dyno - but unfortunatley we'll all have to wait untill the 18th for that:(

Holy crap that went way lean for those two runs!!

The curve looks great untill it dips, good luck on fixing the bugs.

We want #'s!!!
Yeah the torque line is nice and flat - pretty broad power curve. I'm sure it'll be tweaked out - i put in 22C spark plugs today in the start up is way better and not sure on the throttle yet but i know i was running too cold a plug with 12c's.

Took a couple pics today for the SOTM - got to keep her busy:nice:
