Hey all i got the svo running finally i was checking the coil because i wasn't getting any spark last night and a couple of other things.
Well got up this morning and figured i would just keep messing with it so i took the coil and distributor from my 89' and threw them in and viola it started i had to jump out the relay still no power from ignition.

I'm thinking i might have a vaccuum leak cause shes idleing at 2,000 i'm going back out now to finish some wiring for my trip tomorrow mainly my lights for some reason md don't like people driving with no lights!!! Hee Hee!!!

I have to drive about 200 miles tomorrow and want to at least get her in a safe running matter evan though i have no dash and looks like someone robbed me of my interior.
I justt wanted some ideas what to look over and adjust like vam, I don't want to be stranded I will have my 3 month old son with me and just wanted to make sure i don't miss nothing.
Thanks i apprecciate it!!!

I've drove my SVO all over the Great state of Texas and I wouldn't have done it with my son with me. My son loves my SVO and we drive it all over town and if it breaks down I can get help pretty easy. Now on the open road with a 20 year old un restored car is another story and to big a chance for me with my son. If ya do it I would make sure every hose and all the belts including the timming belt is in great shape. Make sure you got a spare tire and plenty of antifreeze in the radiator. Also treat the car like its on limp mod, I'm mean now burn outs/racing while out of town. I'm sure you wouldn't do that with your son but if you leave him with family to get a coke etc while you two are out of town and see a ricer to race. This make cause some part to fail and maybe on your way home.

Good luck :)
