Here's what I'm in the market for:

2 ea. Goodyear GS-D3 245/45YR17
2 ea. Goodyear GS-D3 315/35YR17

http://www.tiresavings.com wants $1014.37 for the tires including shipping.

http://www.tirerack.com wants $986.27 for the tires including shipping.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com wants $980.00 for the tires including UPS shipping.

Any other places you guys can think of that may offer a better deal?

I work for a dealer and we have an account at www.tirerackwholesale.com $916.87 shipped for that setup. If you know anyone at a dealer, see if they can hook you up.

That's the same setup I put on my wife's Cobra. FANTASTIC tires.

After some research (both local & internet) I purchased my GS-D3's thru Tire Rack. I was happy with both their price and service. I made the deal in Dec. Here is a picture of my 99 Cobra with new GS-D3 tires.

Great tires, I went through tirerack myself. I'm running 285/40/17's out back and 255/40/17's up front. UM, you may want to keep in mind if your still running factory stock rims that the width is actually 9.5" wide and 245 /45s may be a little too small. I have the AFS 17x9's in the front and with the 255/40's it appears about the limit without causing the rim edge stick out.

No worries on the rims dude! I currently have a set of the AFS 17X10.5's that my Nitto 315's are mounted on. I purchased a set of 3/8 inch hubcentric spacers & extended reach lug nuts from Lightning Force Performance...

...and a set of low profile IRS subframe bolts from Maximum Motorsports.

Now all I need to do is get the new tires on order!

Have a set of these tires on my Cobra with 18 inch rims and love them. You'll be very happy once you get a chance to try them out.

I got my t1's from discounttiredirect. If I knew the GSD3's were that much I would have gone with those. I think I spent 750 w/shipping. Maybe a mention of the websites will get you a discount. I know mustang tuning gave me a discount on my wheels for being a corral member. Good luck, let us know how they work, I'm gonna need some rears this year, can't seem to keep them from spinning chris

I've had these tires on 2 different cars, both with 315's. My TT cobra spins them pretty bad, regular driving around town their OK, just don't down shift . I'd say great for 320 down, anything else NO! They are a good tire, just not for sprited driving.

Very nice. I've been thinking about a new wheel/tire combination for mine. Please advise as to what you are running. Be specific with regard to any required mods to run the setup. Thanks.

I needed no mods for my 99 Cobra.. I got the 17x9 chrome FR500 wheels from Wheel Replicas (they are on the internet) and I got
275/40YR-17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires from The Tire Rack.
I also have 1 inch spacers on the back wheels ..
Any questions e-mail me "GScotty2918@msn.com"

Hey U.M.!

Howdy!
You're gonna love the GS-D3's! Best tires I've ever owned, and they look awesome as well.
Fwiw....bought mine from Chris@DTD. Super nice guy and really took care of me before, during, and after the sale. Had a little problem after the sale, and he really stepped up and made things right. Speaks volumes, imho....
Feel free to pm me for the details!
