real 1993 cobra

So what are somethings to tell if it's areal 93 cobra? I know they have the wing, ground effects that are diff than the gt, pony in the grill, no cruise control on the steering wheel tail lights. I just want to make sure i'm buying a real one you know.

D in the VIN means it has the Cobra 5.0L. 81-83 had this letter also but obviously any other 93 wouldnt. And then a P to tell you its a 93.

Yup, look for the D in the VIN. Ask them for the SVT paperwork too.

Check the VIN # for D and the car should only be Teal, Black, or Red.

but not the regular 93 red, its laser red or what ever they called it in 94, its got a little orange in it.

Like everyone said.. The D, but then again... I read something once when they took out the front window and put a fake vin and just rivited it down. I never personaly saw that but I guess it worth a try.....

Black, teal and red clear coat. They also made performance red or something but it was only on like 9 of them or something and they weren't offered to the public. That's not saying they aren't for sale somewhere. Read that online so take it for what its worth
