I thinking about buying a 1994 GT but when I look at a gauge cluster it only goes up to 120 miles per hour how can I tell if this is a real GT or a conversion

The 8th letter of the Vin code will be a "T" for a GT, a "4" for a V6, and a "D" for a Cobra.
