My car was stripped of all audio equipment as far as I know when I bought it. I just seen a silver-colored box under the radio, behind the shifter. Is this an old factory amp? Worth using?

It wouldn't be the first time.
The Mach 460 system has three amps - one in the stock factory location, and two in the rear tray in the trunk. The center one drives all four tweeters, and the two in back drive the woofers. The convertible has the amps mounted on the chassis behind the rear seat.94pony said:i though the speaker amps were located right next to the speakers. Well I know they are in my 94 coupe. not sure about my 95 convert. both with mach 460
