Realistically, what would i need for a JYTT to work??

Just tossing ideas around for my car. WHat would i realistically need to do in order to put together a good TT setup based on two T3's??

I can weld and i'm good at fabrication.

Roughly right now i'm thinking flip the headers, mount the T3's on the end, custom run tubing to the front of the rad and run a Big front mount IC then piping up to the throttle body.

Just need to know things like fuel. would a 255 pump and 42's be plenty? what else?

WHere is the best place to put the MAF meter? after the IC or before? I know i'll need bypass valves.

Anyway just in the research phase. Been peeking around turboford.com but thought i'd ask if anyone has done this exact setup themselves.

Well, you would need to fab up the headers so you would be able to bolt on the turbos to them. You could probably find the turbo's from old mitsu's or 4 fords.

You would need to update your fuel system, and have a fuel management system, and bov's will increase the life of the turbos.

You would want to mount the afm after the intercooler.

Get a Pro-M blow thru meter. This is different from the style of meter that is currently on the car. Then I'd run an intank 255 pump at least. Maybe add a T-Rex inline. Mount the turbos, and intercool it. 42lb injectors should due.
Oh, and you will probably need a dyno tune.
Or you could risk the use of an FMU. But on a JYTT, I'd do the dyno route, just to be sure.

A 255lph and 42s should be pretty good, I don't think you would need an FMU, but if oyu want to be safe you can use one, depending on how much boost you want to run.

You'll need a blow-thru MAF and mount it after the IC and after the BOV if you want to run one. You'll need oil lines and need to connect them to where the oil pressure sender is. You'll also need to have return lines for both turbos. Since they are gravity fed returns you'll likely need 2 returns, and it has to be above the oil level in the oil pan or else it won't drain.

You need plently of tubing, and connectors, and as far as a FMIC there isn't much room for a huge one, but rather a short long one would work, a custom one would probably be best.

Mike, i think there was a write up on 5.0 stang and SF this month where someone did just what you propose. it was dirt cheap too.
i guess you are gonna leave us SD folks.

Thats what I was going to say one of the cars this month did the same thing, it cost less than $1000 i think and there was a list of everything you need. It even ran like 10.96 I think.

I gotta do something to the car. I've been putting around on the same motor setup for a while now. It's about time i had something kick-ass.

Of course, i'm just tossing this idea around in my head to see if i can realistically build a JYTT setup.

I have that 5.0 mag, gotta dig it up again
