Really need these parts. Help me out!

I know this should belong in classifieds but I figured it would get more traffic over here.

I recently got in a minor accident and need these parts badly.

Cowl vent panel
Radiator support bracket
Fan (not that big of priority)
Front passenger side inner part of the fender
(*This is the sheet metal panel attaching the front of the shock tower to the radiator support. It is also the area which houses the battery. Features holes in the top of the panel same as the original.*)

Running low on funds and cant really afford the buy them new. If you have these or know someone that does please let me know.

dude r u kidding the right fender apron is like 30 bucks and the radiator support is like 75. go to americanpony.com save for a week and buy it. other wise go to the classifieds----------------

Sounds like you had the same thing as my old 65 coupe. I smashed the right front corner up to the engine block. Luckily one of my friends in the USAF was an ex-auto body man. He cut a small hole in the inner fenderwell and dropped a 2 inch water pipe with chains attached. He attached the other end of the chains to the rear axle of his 55 Bowtie and kept popping it in drive as I stood there pounding on the sheet metal with a BFH. We were able to pull the inner fenderwell out, attached another fender and headlight bucket and away I went.

No DUDE im not kidding. Fender apron and core support aside, i need the cowl panel and cant find anyone that has it.

That's because they don't make one. Check the classifieds,

needed parts

Hey I know where there is a 65 Mustang in Dallas Fort Worth at a pick a part

I bought the clutch and brake assembly for 20 bucks... very cheep.. It has the radiator support in ment condition and it seems like the person who had the car was restoring it I think it was primered and ready for paint it also has the Cowl panel on it also in ment condition.... the yard is located on the loop 12 off of Main st

Could be worth the drive up from kathy Tx

there is also a 65 Mustang on the highway 30 called pick u pull but it was wrecked in the front, bad radiator support, but good Cowl panel, also there is about 4 Mustang in a yard can't think of the name but it is off highway 30 on Mcarthur blv in grand prairie..


Just giving you some options if you can't find the parts in your neck of the woods.

By the other parts new... you'll spend more time trying to find the parts used and or fixing them then buying new. As for the Cowl panel... you'll have to either fill the cowl, or find a parts car to cut one out of. They don't make them anymore due to complexity of reproducing the vents.

There is a huge mustang salvage yard in Phoenix Arizona (south side) with rust free stangs whole and parts. Call information and Im sure they can give you the number. They ship anywhere and have very good parts. Its in one of the suberb cities there like Chandler or glendale.
