I got my car taken apart in my fron driveway right now to remove the front spring isolators and my question is whether or not to remove both. i want a big drop in front and i dont care about ride quality that much. Is it safe to take top and bottom out??
Does anyone have both isolators out and how is it?

Don't just take them out. Go buy some neoprene or thin foam sheet and put it in there if you are going to take out the stock isolators. This will atleast give you a small buffer between the metal surfaces.

But yeah, both "out" won't hurt it as long as you can get it aligned back into spec with your CC plates...and as long as you don't damage your upper spring perch.

I replaced my front isolators with thin foam sheet with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Ride quality didn't really suffer, everything seemed fine for the 3500-4000 miles or so that I had those springs.

lol. nice. i took out both the top and bottom isolators. i made my own ghetto @ss isolators for the top of each spring outta some thin rubber mesh. finished the job just now, but its too dark to really tell if it lowered that much. but from the looks of things, it almost looks like it didnt lower any im gonna be pissed if i did all of that for nothing...

i know. i feel like such a retard for forgetting to do that. the whole point of me doing that was to see how much it would lower it. i hate myself. i'll go die now.
