rear axle alignment?

I just bought another 90 mustang and after swapping my rear axle assembly and control arms to the new body. i notice that the right rear wheel sticks out further than the left. what could cause this as i didn't notice it on the other car. i also had to push the axle toward the left just to get the upper arms to bolt up. thanks for any tips.

Torque boxes are trashed. Before you say no they are fine, pull the rear seat and UPPER seat, look under the sound deadener.

Yea sounds like a torque box problem...

that sucks. that area looks better on the new car than on my old one. i have adjustable upper arms. if the torque boxes were worse on the old car could it be they are adjusted to the old car and need to be readjusted for the new car?

Well now that you mentioned that you have adjustable control arms they very well could be readjusted to fit/line out the new cars rear end better.

thats good to know. when i dropped the rear axle out of the new car. i noticed one of the upper control arm bushings were destroyed and i hoped that the torque boxes were ok
