rear axle info

I have a mustang 67 mt 3.03 3 speed (i think)

i wont to know what kind of rear axle I have, and more specs of my car

That's the body buck tag. It won't give you the rear end ratio. For that, you'll have to look on the tag on the driver's side door (inside the door jamb). Look under the "Axle" heading on the tag.

Assuming the door hasn't been replaced, that code should reference you to what ratio you have.

WCZ-F1 = '67, 8-inch rear, 28-spline axles, 3.00:1 open differential (single track).

its a difference ?


and what is the info can i get from the body buck tag?

The "W" is there, you just can't see it becasue the housing retainer nut is covering it up.

If you took a 9/16" socket and removed the nut, you would see the "W" on the tag .
