Ditto...your wheels would look way sunken in in the back if you went with a 96-98 axle...you'd need wheel spacers to bring it back out to where they need to be...I'd look for someone with a 99+ GT to swap with instead...96 DOHC Cobra said:The 94-98 axle will bolt in, but it's 1.5" shorter than the 99-up Cobra or GT.
