Before I got my sequentials I never noticed another stangs brake/signal lights but now that I have them I find myself always looking and noticed some diffrences. Some stangs brake lights light up the inner and middle bulbs, others light up just the middle bulb and IIRC mine lit up all three? I even saw one tonight on the way to work where the drivers side lit up just the middle and the passenger side lit up the outter lol. Noticed the same for the signals as well, am I just noticing faulting bulbs or is it by design from ford?

You're seeing burned out bulbs.
Stock is the inner two on both sides... brake and signal.
Sequential is all three.

Stock uses the outer two for blinkers and brakes. The very inside light stays constant. Yes, sequentials do all three

+1 mine has always been the outer 2. FWIW, I had my first bulb go out after 4 years last month. I cant imagine that you would see that many burned bulbs already.
